Hey, First name / friends!
Are you struggling to get noticed in the art licensing industry? Maybe you’ve been pitching your work, but aren’t hearing back. Maybe you’re spending hours uploading to POD sites only to gain no traction. Or maybe you’re feeling totally lost with what you should be putting in your portfolio in order to stand out.

You know your artwork is good, but sometimes it feels like the industry is so crowded that there’s no room for you to shine. (Spoiler: That’s not the case!)

I felt this way too at the beginning of my art career. But things started to turn around once I created a strong, cohesive portfolio. And now, that portfolio has led me to a thriving art business with artwork on over a million products around the world.

If you’re ready to learn how to put together an irresistible portfolio that will get you noticed, I’m so excited to announce that I have a BRAND NEW workshop just for you!

#CreateWithCatCoq - Daisies
This week’s challenge is to create artwork with a daisy motif! Share your daisy illustration or pattern on Instagram with the hashtag #CreeateWithCatCoq so I can like, comment, and share your work!
Daisies are popping up everywhere in surface design these days (pun intended! 🌼). Adding this motif to your portfolio gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Why? Because it’s a two-for-one when it comes to trends:
  1. Daisies are a current hot trend. Retro icons and imagery are super popular right now, and that’s why you’re seeing a lot of daisies on products these days.
  2. Daisies are an evergreen trend. Florals are always popular and so your daisy pattern has the potential to be a top seller no matter what’s currently trending!
I share more tips about how to strategically incorporate trends into your portfolio in my workshop, Create a Strong Art Licensing Portfolio

Join me in the workshop where you’ll learn 11 top strategies for creating a stand-out portfolio!
