SUMMER SKETCHBOOK UN-SLUMP WEEK 2 CHECK-IN |

What has curiosity gotten you thinking about and what has it inspired you to make? I've been a little bit stuck with this prompt which kind of surprised me because there are a million things I am curious about! I did have a handful of ideas but none of them seemed to be sticking. When this happens, asking myself this question usually helps me get unstuck: what do you feel most excited about? I ran through my ideas again and there was one that felt a tiny bit different, one that I was slightly more excited about than the rest so I decided to go with it. Once I began, the excitement grew and I'm really looking forward to finishing my page! Find out what idea I am exploring and what our community has been up to below! |

“I was curious if I could create my own royal blue and indigo paint by mixing them together I like what happened the outcome of those two colors. I also tried to do paint by scraping it and letting it just dry which came a little thicker. Then I finished with a real wet dripping technique with some overlay of watercolors.” - Kat |

"Love the prompt of Curiosity this week! I have been making nests like theses for a few years now from things I find on my walks. They are often things that peek my curiosity! Collected some extra treasures today and added to my little collection." - Carina |

I am usually very slow to get on board with new tech so this week I'm getting curious about AI! How does it work? Is there a way we can collaborate with it and incorporate it into our work in a meaningful way? I used Imagine.Art to generate an AI image by entering the words “Curiousity Unfinished Drawing”. Below is the result! I actually really love it and am excited to add to it and finish this piece up. Currently feeling some sepia-toned-Lord-of-the-Rings-fantasy-hobbit-home-forest vibes! |

The photo galleries for prompts, Destination & Develop and Play have been updated! These galleries include work that I wasn't able to include in the round up so I hope you'll check them out! If you haven't visited the gallery in awhile, it can be fun to peruse them, see what others have been creating, reflect on the work you've made, and get inspired! You can find all the albums here. I hope you continue to find creative inspiration for this prompt in the upcoming days. Have a curiosity filled week and talk to you on Friday for week 3 of the SSUS! |
