Eating and sharing a meal with others, is one of life’s most precious joys. But for so many people, it's not always a joyful and carefree experience. It can feel stressful, confusing and even out of control. 
 
If you feel this way when eating out with others, I invite you to see the presence of those around you as part of the meal and full eating experience. Get the appetizers, entrees and even dessert if something on the menu speaks to you! Do this while also honoring the time and space you're sharing with others - around the food. Prioritize their presence and company as part of the meal to be enjoyed and savored. 
 
Because yes, of course it's about the food but it's even more so about the connections you make over food. Seeing it this way will help you have a fuller, more colorful and truly nourishing experience - mind, body and soul.
