Ciarán Carey is the perfect guy to lead Hola Sober Men as he is a respected and much loved sports-man but also a recovery giant with a humility that is hard to find. I also love that he is from my home city! ”

TRUTH
WE SEE YOU

Dear Friend,

Hola Sober has evolved over the past few years from a Daily Email to a Monthly Magazine, 9-Sober-Support Zoom Meetings Per Week, Pledge-100 (Online-Mentor-led-100-Days-Without-Alcohol) and Camino-30 (Online-30 Day Program of Abstinence from alcohol) for women only.  We are a privately funded space with a crew of high-impact-volunteers who put a ding in the universe daily keeping women feeling supported, empowered and strong in their sober pledge.

I have long felt there was a need for Hola Sober Men as an alternative to the traditional approach to sobriety and as the Hola Sober women rock energy, positivity and empowerment; the time feels right to evolve and provide a safe powerful space for men out there.

Hola Sober Women for women only.
Hola Sober Men for men only.

For me, finding the right Meeting leader for Hola Sober Men was always the key to the creation of a safe space and although it has taken me some time,  I have found the perfect sober powerhouse.  I am delighted to announce the formation of Hola Sober Men with weekly sober support meetings led by Ciarán Carey starting in September.
We believe starting an Hola Sober Men is a powerful initiative which will provide an online safe space for men to connect, share their experiences, and find strength in each other's journey to sobriety. Historically online-communities foster brotherhood, understanding, and empathy, breaking the stigma around seeking help for addiction. Through group discussions, and mutual encouragement, men can build resilience, overcome challenges, and celebrate their triumphs. We believe meetings empower men to navigate life's complexities with sobriety as their anchor, promoting emotional well-being, personal growth, and lasting recovery. Together in community,  we believe Hola Sober Men can help men redefine masculinity by embracing vulnerability and supporting one another on the path to healing and transformation.

If the men or boys in your life need sober support led by a dynamic man who is resolute and strong in his own sobriety for 12 years,  Hola Sober Men may be the answer. Please feel free to share this email with those in your world who need some straight up sober support and if they do, Hola Sober Men is here.

Ciarán Carey and I look forward to welcoming men in September
