Happy weekend, friend! 

 

BEYOND excited for Saturday, phew! I've been in full summer mom mode over here and loving it, we're talking bookstores, splash-pads, playdates, pizza nights, slumber parties, endless applications of sunscreen, and sand just about everywhere… it's the best. 

 

I currently try and cram a full work week into three days so I can have two full days to splash around in the sunshine with my tiny best friend. It's such a privilege to be able to do that and I do not take one single second for granted, but I love our weekends together as a family where our pace is a bit slower! Truly a fun/crazy/messy/wild season of work hard, play hard. 

 

I made a summer list not too long ago and have been slowly crossing things off, nothing too over the top, just small things like “have our first ice cream cone” etc... I never want a season to go by that I haven't at least tried to be intentional, and I feel like we are totally doing it, and I'm so proud! The planning and the work to get. out. the. door. is always worth the memories for us! And I'm really grateful for the opportunity to make them. It's never perfect, but always an adventure. 

 

Anyway, all of that to say, I'm wishing you a weekend with space and time for every single person in your home to nap! Happy Saturday, friend.
