Dear First name / friend

First, I want to tell you ‘I AM LOVING MY NEW SPACE !!!’, as do my clients. Why?
  1. It looks good (thank you, Scott Fountain),
  2. It feels more spacious than the previous, larger space,
  3. It has more natural light (in fact, some days I forget to turn the lights on),
  4. It is quiet,
  5. There are no cooking or vape store odors,
  6. The signage turned out great, and
  7. Clients tell me they like it better.
Obviously, I am glad I made the move.  Below is a little pic, if I've piqued your curiosity. So, onward . . .

Big news – I can now say I'm ‘published’. I have long encouraged everyone to get up and down from the floor at least twice a day (I do realize some have limitations that prevent that, but the rest of us . . .).  I finally bit the bullet and wrote out the reasons why. We have a newspaper in Fallbrook, I submitted it to them and it's in their July 6 issue, titled ‘Up and down, a self-care article’.

If you don't get the Fallbrook Village News, let me know,
I'll send you a .pdf of the article.

MY SCHEDULE:
AT NORTH COUNTY YOGA THERAPY:

I am available, by appointment, each day of the week.

In a Yoga Therapy Session, we will partner to work with your
challenges. This work may involve a bit of ‘homework’ -
things to do at home between visits.

In an Individual Yoga Session, you have my sole attention as you
refine your skills or begin your Yoga Practice.

When you log onto my website, you will see a pop-up offering an introductory visit (30-45 minutes), in which new students/clients are
able to meet me, discuss their goals, perhaps experience some movement. This is a free offer.

AND, AT SAGE YOGA STUDIOS:

Aligned Yoga:  Mondays & Thursdays, 10:30am (Fallbrook location)
Suitable for the student with a bit of experience, a desire to learn, and an appreciation for our potential.  Refine your alignment as flexibility, strength, balance, and agility increase. (75 minutes)

Gentle Yoga:  Tuesdays, 9am (Bonsall location)
Gentle Yoga is an all levels class, suitable for you if you are challenged
by a chronic condition, injury, stress, or just need some quiet time and mindful movement. (60 minutes)

Yoga Fundamentals:  Fridays, 9am (Bonsall location)
All levels are welcome to my Yoga Fundamentals class, where we
step back a bit, put on our ‘beginner mind’, and move with more intention.
A fun, welcoming core of students.
(60 minutes)

on my end table:
Understanding Yoga Therapy by Marlysa Sullivan. Still working on this book. She has lots of good information, but during the past month, we had company which significantly curtailed my reading time.

The Round House by Louise Erdrich. An historic, yet fictional, novel of our Native American population. Written in 1988, it brings to my attention the circumstances of that era. The author is daughter of a German father and a Mother who is half Chippewa and the other half a mixture of other tribes and French.

for more light reading & RESOURCES:
  1. Cup of Jo newsletter — lots of interesting and fun articles and links.
  2. And, learn more about my new favorite yoga tool in my recent blog post.
  3. Clients and students often ask me about the following:
    1. Shoes - I love the brand CARIUMA; such cute styles AND I find comfortable for walking on almost any surface.
    2. Clothes - VUORI. I travel in their jogger pants & zipped hoodie; and teach yoga almost every day in their truly comfortable tights. Their men's clothing is also loved by the men in my life.

Until next time,
Leslie
