I have loved seeing what you have been been creating!
Here's what pattern looks like through your eyes…

FROM OUR COMMUNITY

“Ironically I completed this picture a few days ago as it matched Friday’s prompt “Pattern.” You know me ever since I took my Design class I’ve been into different patterns as details. I completed this on the train to NY as it was calming and passed the time.” - RS

“My first three were driven by a desire to justify having purchased a set of Tombow ABT water based pens 3 years ago which, except for the black pen, had so far gone unused. 😂” Inspiration from Color Made Happy

"My second two were a driven by the first two nature patterns that came to mind when you said “pattern”. 😍" Landscape inspiration from @letsgomakeart.

“Finally, the last one was a meditative exercise I’ve come to enjoy … drawing mandalas … almost ruined by a wash with my own handmade paints.🙃”

I think EB and I are on the same wavelength because I was also drawn to circles as well! I wanted to try using a stencil, something I haven't worked a lot with, and decided to make my own using a glue gun. I drew the circles with the gun onto glassine paper which allowed me to peel it off--most of it--and any paper still stuck on was easily washed away. I applied acrylic paint to it using a sponge to try to add some texture and used the stencil both ways. I'm still working on my page and am thinking maybe this will evolve into a bee themed piece…

“Life forms illogical patterns. It is haphazard and full of beauties which I try to catch as they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return?” - Margot Fonteyn

I hope you continue to catch illogical, haphazard, and beautiful patterns and use them to create if you feel inspired to do so :)

Have a great rest of your week and talk to you on Friday!
