The Autumn Equinox falls on the 23rd of September, with a full Moon in Aries on the 28th of September. This window is a very powerful portal for following the direction of the Goddess to come together in sacred circle and learn from the ancient wisdoms of the Desert. Together we take council and remember the pathways of the ancients.
Desert medicine is the medicine of the Sage & the Sorceress, this is the expansive space that has inspired many of the great prophets, mages, and oracles of old.
This is a Visionary Leadership retreat; it is designed to ignite a new level of evolution in your being. Memory, song, and wisdom awaken the ancient cobra medicine of your spine, bringing the gift of prophecy to life in your mind’s eye. As women we are seeking a new path, one that allows us to guide and nurture our communities, families, the earth, and ourselves. The Flower of Fire is an initiation journey
From one of the world’s most ancient texts “The Chaldean Oracles” comes the wisdom of the Flower of Fire.
The flower of fire is also known as the Rose of Fire in some translations, this is the manifestation of the Goddess Hekate in her role as the Cosmic Soul this is the mirror of the Sophia or the Shekinah, the original creative point of the feminine that has birthed all worlds and all matter:
This retreat seeks to ignite the Flower of Fire, your original blueprint as a creative force incarnate on earth, the Goddess of a million names and faces, you are her and she is you. What are you birthing? What can the expansiveness of the desert whisper to you?
This journey will be 7 days arriving in Marrakech on the 22nd we overnight at Riad Zam Zam, waking early for breakfast together on the 23rd September. We travel to the Sahara in luxury 4X4 transport, stopping on the way for a beautiful lunch in a spectacular location in the Atlas Mountains. We will arrive to our Sahara desert camp before sunset where we will be welcomed with teas and a moment to settle into your luxury tented accommodation. In the evening around the fire pit we will enjoy a beautiful organic dinner feast, local teas and gorgeous deserts to soften us into the nourishment of the desert.
The full brief of the retreat day by day layout will be shared with those who confirm their space, this is to allow for the integrity and privacy of the energetic works to remain cocooned within the weave of women that come together. Breathwork journeys daily, yoga, sacred dance rituals, lunar bathing, voice workshops, nature vigil and ritual teachings will hold us through the days, beautiful feasts, fire ceremony and the medicine of the moon will be our guides each day.
At the core of the Flower of Fire is the intention to support female leaders to realise their potential and to find space to heal, remember and evolve.
Specific sacred medicines will be on offer to those who feel called to journey deeper into the souls song with the guidance of an ally. The medicines of Rose, Blue Lotus, Jasmine & Saffron will be our primary plant medicine guides.
The Venues:
Riad Zamzam is situated in the North Medina, a very authentic part of the old Medina, called Zaouia Sidi Bel Abbess (Zaouia means Islamic school) and Sidi (Sir Bel Abbass).
(Erg meaning dunes) a sacred Saharawi site 40 minutes through dunes from Mhamid or Tagounite. They have specifically sought out this healing space for Morocco Retreats -
‘to provide a sanctuary for incredible healing through connection to the powerful healing of the earth.
