Hi friends,

When I get stuck on a task I don’t enjoy or did not do before or that has a lot of ambiguity, I feel I need to muster my strength and power through it using the practices I learned and proved to work before, like research, analysis, using timers for deep work sessions. I think to myself, get focused and get it done. I never pray for guidance and ease because my work task is so earthly, and Divine guidance is not part of my equation.

Not only that, but I had a limiting belief that this is not where we use spiritual practices and that we should only use them in relationships and managing emotions.

But why not for work?

Haven’t you ever experienced spontaneous conversations that make the task so much clearer and doable? I feel so much alignment and gratitude when such moments occur. Why not pray for those?

Why not do your job and ask for insightful conversations and helpful information to come your way?

Why not trust that such things are possible and that they would light up your intuition so you can even do a better job?

I want to remember to do this more often.

We can ask for guidance.

We can be professionals and still seek those moments of serendipitous nudges forward and be grateful if/when they happen.
