COMMONWEALTH YOUTH GAMES 2023 |

Eleven young athletes from Sri Lanka were selected for the Commonwealth Youth Games, which commenced on August 4th in the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Excelling in sports like swimming, beach volleyball and athletics, these young trail blazers are setting new records in their respective fields, and proudly representing our nation. These talented youth will challenge their boundaries in competitions with their global peers, and are likely to come home having made new Caribbean friends. |

LOVI has made special outfits for our young athletes, showcasing Sri Lanka's heritage, with art of cultural locations like Galle Fort and Nuwara Eliya, and symbols like the lotus leaf, representing the purity and hope of our nation’s youth. The sarongs are the latest iteration of LOVI's sport sarong, showcasing the Sri Lankan identity on the international stage.
