5 Reasons to Be Part of Purpose 2023

The countdown is on, with Early Bird tickets in their final weeks and our list of presenters growing, we wanted to share the top 5 reasons you need to be at Purpose 2023 on 8-9 November.

1. PURPOSE IS A MEGA TREND
Purpose in business - ie. addressing climate, ESG, biodiversity, resource scarcity, inequality and the ‘economy of meaning’ - is officially a mega-trend according to multiple sources such as Deloitte, the UN and the CSIRO.  It is the biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity of our lifetime and it will inevitably only become a bigger force as the challenges continue to bite. At Purpose we acknowledge the reality that lies ahead but we also learn how to adapt, join forces, harness momentum and thrive in the future.

2. DEEP LEARNING
These huge changes require us to step back from our everyday, shift our perspective and explore brand new narratives about our economy and our businesses. Purpose creates space for deep reflection, learning and thinking outside of our current reality.  Among our program of cutting edge thinkers, we are fortunate to work with a group of First Nations advisors and presenters providing us with the opportunity to explore deeply different world views, solutions and opportunities.

3. NEXT LEVEL NETWORKING
Over 800 movers and shakers will descend upon Carriageworks, bringing their diverse backgrounds and unique experiences together to help solve a shared problem. We’ll be facilitating networking, introductions and interaction with others to spark collaboration,  amplify your impact, and perhaps even find you the co-founder, investor, customer or the job of your dreams

5. AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
We’re not like other conferences, in fact to use the term is almost a disservice. Since we held our first Purpose in 2015 we’ve become famous for being a generous, delicious (!), human and beautiful event to attend. We work hard to think about how you move, what you see, what you hear, how you feel and the quality of connections you make. It’s all of this that make Purpose the most un-conferency of conferences. We work super hard to keep the event affordable and accessible for everyone who wants to join us for the two days.
