We had a great time bowling at Sherman Bowling Center!
This event was a time for the people we serve, their families, and staff members to connect and enjoy spending time together in person. We want to give a HUGE thank you to Glenside Pub and Lombardo's Pizza for their support in providing a delicious lunch for this wonderful event, as well as Sherman Bowling Center for having us! We love being able to come together and celebrate being part of the MOKA family.

GAME DAY!
The extreme generosity of a donor allowed MOKA to send 162 people to a West MI Whitecaps game this month! People served and staff enjoyed the game, soda and a hot dog, and fresh Game Day t-shirts with a side of rain! Despite the weather fun was had by all. We cannot wait to return to the ballpark next season! Go Whitecaps!

CONGRATS LIZ & CARMEN
Liz and Carmen are new hires at the recently opened Ross Dress for Less in Muskegon! This is Carmen's first job; she is so excited to begin her shifts as a stocker. Liz has previous retail experience and cannot wait to start her career at Ross' helping customers in the fitting rooms.
Ross' Manager Melissa said she “is happy to have both on board at Ross.”

IN THE COMMUNITY
MOKA attended the Library for the Visually & Physically Disabled's (LVPD)  Beyond Disabilities Art Show and Resource Fair. We had a blast sharing about MOKA's services, meeting new friends, playing games, and viewing the work of talented artists.

Creating Together
Two Community Supports groups attended art classes with Katrina at Art Creations! Katrina has a background in using art for rehabilitation and had a wonderful time guiding groups through a collaborative art project.
