Hi First name / friend, There have been some hazy days this summer, but not a single lazy one. We have made a tremendous difference in the lives of 400 neighbors in just a few short months. We can’t do any of it without the support and kindness from the many individuals who are on this journey with us.
RALLYING FOR LOCAL VETERANS
For the third year, the generosity of our supporters will feed 150 local Veterans at Operation Stand Down RI's 32nd annual assistance weekend. This event provides veterans with access to important services including health, dental, and substance abuse care, as well as employment, legal, and housing services.
This year, we’ve created an additional way to honor these local heroes.
A NEW WAY TO FEED THE NEED IN NORTH PROVIDENCE AND JOHNSTON
We’re excited to announce the opening of the ‘Hope Chest’ in two communities. This is the newest opportunity for you to positively impact your neighbors.
If you operate a local restaurant in RI (or know someone who does) and want to help tackle food insecurity with us, get in touch today. We will handle all of the details so you can focus on preparing delicious and balanced meals for those struggling to meet their basic food needs.
Summer Nights
in Cranston
With help from Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Thirsty Beaver, and Mangiamo, we spent an amazing Summer night with 35 families and distributed 100 balanced and nourishing meals.
Our work has allowed us to meet hundreds of people with a personal mission to change lives. Grace Swinski, together with Cranston Family Center/COZ, is no exception. Grateful for the chance to continue our work
in Cranston.
STOP & SHOP COMMUNITY BAG PROGRAM
Plates with Purpose was the charity of choice by Stop & Shop - Smithfield last month. More than 45 bags were purchased and that means more meals into the hands of those who need them the most.
Did you know you can purchase a Community GIVE BACK Bag ANYTIME at ANY of the locations listed below and continue to support the work we do?
