Hey, Guatemala Team!
You leave for Guatemala in ONE MONTH! Can you believe it? You are going to have an amazing trip. We cannot wait to hear all that God does in and through you.

You have now received 7 emails, so be sure you go back and read through all of them and make sure you understand everything that is coming your way!

CKM TEAM DEPARTURE GUIDE
  • Be sure you read your Participant Guides (Feb 22-26 Team // Feb 21-28 Team). This trip overview is an important document that has lots of helpful info about your travel, your itinerary, and more.

  • You will want to take some time to read and study this guide so that you are familiar with it.

  • We suggest saving it on your phone or printing it out so that you can have a copy of it with you on your trip.

CONTACT INFO

The participant guide has the hotels listed, but you may have to pass along a few other names and numbers to your friends and family in case you choose to not use international data on your phone.

Justin Brock - 864.723.1848
*Justin is available by text or calls at any point prior to the trip or during the trip. (Feb 21-28)

Cliff Nickerson - 678.588.4829‬
*Cliff is also available by text or calls at any point prior to the trip or during the trip. (Feb 21-28)

Audrey Roache - ‭864.243.5860‬
*Audrey will be the main point of contact for those on the Feb 22-26 Team on your travel days. Please reach out to her with any questions about arrival to GSP and your return! Audrey will also be the main point of contact for those coming in that will need housing the night before the trip.

Speaking of phones - it's super easy to set up international data plans with most providers for a reasonable price. Contact your provider well before the trip to see what it looks like to get data. With that said, you are NOT required to have data on your phone for the trip, and it may, in fact, be a welcomed break from the world at home :). There will be wifi at each overnight spot, so you would have a way to still check messages, emails, etc without data!

GROUPS
Below is a tentative plan for your positions at Intermissions. Here are a few things to consider.
  • WORKSHOPS: The conference hosts have asked our team to also teach a few workshops. There is a chance some from Students will also hop over to main session to help with workshops!
  • SCHEDULE: The main session doesn't have afternoon responsibilities, so you will likely hop in with Students and hang out. There is also a chance you have built some relationships with missionaries and have opportunities to have coffee, take a walk, sit in the lobby, etc to build relationships with them.
  • SUPPLIES: As we make final preparations, we may be reaching out to help gather a few additional supplies for the trip!
