First of all, thank you for your interest in our upcoming group classes and opening of our training facility. We are hard at work to get ready and are SUPER excited… our tails won't stop wagging!
 

We have some news and information for you. Please send us feedback if you have it! Looking for a specific type of class? Interested in classes during the day? Questions? Just reply to this email - we want to hear from you!

We are hard at work getting our training space ready for you and your pups! Our signage is up (check it out at Quarry Walk by the Better Beagle Co and Country Creamery), the inside is painted and we're awaiting our pup-friendly flooring.  We tend to post behind-the-scenes photos and updates on our Facebook. Follow us to stay up to date!

 

We are hopeful to be open early September at the latest, pending completion of all necessary inspections.

Our general "manners" courses are broken up into Levels 1-4 (..or 5. To be decided!). They are what you'd picture as your typical training class. We focus on the basics such as sit, down, loose leash walking, coming when called, etc. 

 

Everyone starts at Level 1 and works their way up at their own pace! We'll let you know as soon as you and your dog are ready to move up to the next level.

 

You don't need to go all the way to level 5 if you don't want to - it's whatever you want to work on! 

 

When you go up a level you can attend that level and all levels below. Revisiting lower levels are an excellent way to proof behaviors around distractions and review previous skills!

 

Non-reactive dogs of all ages who are current on their Rabies, bordatella and DHPP vaccines (3x doses for puppies) may enroll in our levels-based courses.

Puppy Pre-K is a class meant for puppies 5 months and under. Each session focuses on socialization as well as a skill or behavior (sit, down, etc.), body handling (paws, ears, etc.) and discussion of topics such as potty training, chewing and other “puppy stuff!”

 

Socialization includes of positive exposures to a variety of new things, practicing working around and playing with other puppies, and meeting new people!

 

Please note in order to attend Puppy Pre-K, you puppy MUST have at least two doses of vet-administered DHPP vaccine.

We will also offer additional courses including cooperative care, nose work, 'brewery/patio manners' and other classes that will work your dog's mind, build your relationship and benefit you both in the ‘real world.’ These will be offered on a rotating basis!

Due to high demand, we expect to open multiple sections of our linear reactive dog course shortly after opening. This course and/or private lessons can help your dog work more comfortably around other people and dogs. Many times focusing on the root of their reactivity will allow dogs to attend our other classes in the future.

We know you're busy and your schedule changes week-to-week. We have developed a flexible class style to allow you to attend when is convenient for you. Think of it like a gym membership for dogs!

 

Want to take 3 classes when you have that week off from work? Great! Need to a miss a week for vacation? Pick back up when you get home! Each class is run multiple times per week so you can pick and choose the sessions most convenient for your lifestyle.
