I have one question for you—
how are you feeling?

Dear First name / friend, you are beginning a new chapter in life and a significant one. I hope you can take a moment and simply relish in this moment.

YOU MADE IT! ✨

You have been striving toward this moment of beginning grad school for a really long time and YOU'RE HERE. The beauty is, you can rest assured knowing your McNair experience has prepared you for this next step in your journey. Plus you have our special group of scholar grads here to bear witness and support you!

My intention is to send you a weekly love note 💌 and host a few gatherings this fall so that we can get to know one another. I hope you take advantage of our private McNair space within our 365 space to interact, leave a comment and inspire one another.

I've been working with McNair scholars for a really long time now and my passion is supporting students in well-being (and teaching them how to meditate) …

Our 365 space is meant to support you in structuring your week by establishing your priorities, checking in and sharing gratitude. We're here for accountability so use us! When you declare + share your intentions for your week, you are more likely to follow through.

One of the most important things you can do is take small daily actions to support your well-being as you begin this new adventure as a graduate student and McNair scholar following your passion + dreams.

TRUTH: IF YOU DON'T HAVE A STRONG FOUNDATION, EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE HARDER.

We're here to keep you focused on what's most important and be your biggest cheerleader. Log into our 365 space TODAY and leave a comment in our McNair Grad Group letting us know how you are feeling in this very moment.

It's a huge milestone and we're here to share it. ✨
