Dear Family, Friends, and Business Sisters,
This email comes with some very bittersweet feelings (more sweet than bitter). It has come time to step where the Lord is leading. I apologize if you have received this email more than once, some of you are on multiple email lists.
I can't wait to share more in another email about the journey I have been on for many, many months. The prayer, the arguing with God, the journaling, the counsel, and all the other twists and turns that finally got me to the point of making this decision. The one thing I know for sure is GOD IS GOOD all the time and all the time GOD IS GOOD!
This is long but lots of info I need to share...
The Grove Workspace for Women LLC was birthed 5 years ago. You can read more about that story on the website (www.thegroveworkspace.com). The whole process has served as such a valuable and beautiful blessing in my life. It has helped me grow so much, in ways I didn't even know I needed, and I have witnessed so many women plant seeds that have grown into successful businesses. The greatest joy from the past years has been seeing women succeed not just in business but in relationships and self confidence.
I am transitioning into a new phase of life and business and will be passing the torch effective October 1, 2023. Transition can be scary and with this change, I am sure you have some questions. I hope to fully answer those now.
WHAT I WILL BE DOING…
well... all the amazing things I love but on a more intentional scale. Every single thing that has happened to me over the past 5 years of planning and growing this beautiful space and community has been a blessing…even the challenging times I count as GREAT blessing. The majority of the beautiful women in my life today are because of our time at The Grove. You know who you are… You have brought a richness to my life I didn’t even know was possible. I am forever changed.
The way I show up for women is not changing…just the day to day location. Not having the responsibility of growing and maintaining the Grove business gives me the ability to focus more on the passion God has placed in my heart since I was a young girl of inspiring and bringing hope to women. I am so humbled the Lord is calling me to do this with my Christian faith leading the way.

the Grove location is not closing! In this space,
there will be a beautiful new holistic community called Living Holistic founded and managed by Alisha Hicks. This will be a center for holistic minded individuals, professionals, producers, a marketplace, garden and community opening October 1, 2023. This is such a special next chapter of The Grove story as Alisha launched Heritage Havens here at The Grove. **As I was typing this, “Blessed Assurance” came on the radio. You may not know I got my first tattoo last year on my 52nd birthday and it reads “This is My Story!” This is the course of that song…Again, God is so good.
