WE NEED YOU
HELP SECURE THE FUTURE OF BIRTH MARK
Image item
As you may have already heard, Birth Mark has hit a fundamental roadblock in our journey, being at an all-time low for private funding. This means that we may be forced to close at the end of 2023, leaving a gap in reproductive support and services that we have worked so hard to fill over the last 5 years.
YOU CAN HELP US KEEP
OUR DOORS OPEN

1. Join the walk! We are now running the walk at 10 a.m. on September 24th in both Toronto and Hamilton. Sign up now

2. Donate to an already registered team or individual here

3. Commit to fundraising and outreach by registering for our ‘virtual walk’ which requires no time commitment and only asks that you help us by asking your friends and family for donations

4. Start a team and get friends and family to join! See who can hit their fundraising goal first and get your team to the top of the leaderboard!

5. Spread the word about the fundraiser, about Birth Mark, and about the impact we make every day

Register today as an individual or a team, set goals, and challenge each other to reach your fundraising potential! All funds raised will go right back into Birth Mark being able to continue to provide free and accessible doula and perinatal support to folks who need it the most.

If you have any questions, ideas, dreams or concerns about this fundraiser, email walkwith@birthmarksupport.com
If you are a company or organization looking to support in other ways please email walkwith@birthmarksupport.com to receive a copy of our sponsorship package and vendor information.

Some ways you can support are:
 1. Sponsor a part of the Step Up! event
2. Donate items or gift cards for our raffle
3. Start your own team for the fundraising walk and challenge
your employees to raise the most money!

If none of these make sense for you, let us know! We're always looking for new ways to partner and work together.

Birth Mark acknowledges that we operate on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and Wendat peoples. We acknowledge these nations and any others who care for the land; acknowledged and unacknowledged, recorded and unrecorded, as the past, present and future caretakers of this land. We seek to live in respect, peace and right relations with them as we live and work upon their traditional territory. At Birth Mark, we make a collective commitment to keep truth and reconciliation real in our communities and in particular to bring justice for murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls across the country.
