Hi there {{ subscriber.firstName | default('friend in Christ') }},

I hope your week is going well!

Our oldest son, his girlfriend, and our youngest daughter visited us last week. It was great to see them! It was the first time they had been to our new home since we actually moved in. The only ones missing were our oldest daughter and her boyfriend-who live in another state.
It was nice to have time together.

In the Mass readings this week we read in 1 Thessalonians of the bond between those sharing the faith and those receiving this new faith from them. Siant Paul tells them in 1 Thessalonians 8:

"With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very selves as well, so dearly beloved had you become to us."

When I read that I thought of how we are to be with others: to share our amazing faith in a loving way, knowing how much God loves each person he created. Doing so will certainly affect the way we share our faith.

The Bible is so rich in applicable information as it teaches us not only about Jesus but about how to live our faith.

Reding the Bible does not need to take a lot of time or be complicated. The post this week is Create A Simple Catholic Bible Reading Plan shows you how to keep it simple.
