How do we preserve our personhood, privacy, and well-being in a world that often encourages us to share more of ourselves online?  
 
We're told to be authentic by closing the gap between our real self and our internet self, which is an impossible task. I’d argue our task is to actually create a very real separation between the two. 
 
In this article, I’m exploring how we might preserve our personhood and privacy while existing, working, and connecting online—and some tips I’m trying out for myself.
