Hey First name / girl,
If you want to create content, build an audience on IG, and make brand deals for $400, $700, or even into the thousands… 💸
Yet I’ve seen a lot of people who rarely or never pitch brands. They say things like…
😐 “If I just keep posting content, hopefully brands will approach me and I won’t have to pitch them… right?”
🤔 “I’ll send this pitch after I make a couple more edits…” *makes 20 more edits and then doesn’t send*
🙁 “I can’t pitch brands because I don’t have enough followers.”
😵💫 “I have no idea what to write in a pitch. I’m stuck.”
😖“I like this brand but there are probably a ton of other influencers pitching them, so I won’t waste my time.”
Sound like you? These procrastination tactics are getting in the way of you building a successful influencer business.
It’s all thanks to your fear of rejection.
Every time you pitch a brand, you risk getting rejected. And rejection hurts. That’s why it’s easier to think about pitching brands than to actually do it.
But rejection is part of the game. I’ve been doing this for five years and I’ve been rejected so many times I’ve lost count. Lots of brands have said no to me or not responded.
I used to feel so discouraged by this, especially whenever I got several rejections in a row. I’m not gonna lie – it messed with my confidence.
Maybe you’re in the same place right now. I want you to know…
⭐⭐ Getting rejected doesn’t mean you’re “not good enough.” It doesn’t mean you “can’t make it.” It doesn’t mean you’re “incapable,” you're “not cut out for this,” or any other lies your brain is telling you. ⭐⭐
So keep sending those pitches. Sometimes you have to get a bunch of nos before getting a yes. But trust me, the yeses are worth it!!
