Welcoming September…

How are you feeling?
 
Well, time continues to fly by and the weather is keeping us on our toes!
 
Just as I was feeling a welcomed chill in the air this week, we have another hot spell coming next week!
 
I still can't believe it's September!

I'm definitely feeling a welcomed shift this week.
 
A very lovely lady came (a day early) to pick up my hire car and so I didn't need to vacuum it out! And as it had rained, she said she didn't need to do an inspection! Happy days!
 
And today, I've received notification that the driver has now accepted liability for the accident (after previously trying to retract his admission).
 
The whole car experience has been so deep and multifaceted, but now I'm out the other side, I'm very grateful for the deeper awareness and healing that it's brought me.
 
As with any experience, the more we can keep observing and allowing ourselves to be present with what we're feeling and what is being presented, the more space we create to allow it to move through us.
 
When we're in it, it's easy to forget our tools to self-soothe and bring balance back to our nervous system. Including myself at points through this experience! I am human! ;-)
 
But, I definitely have a greater trust now and am forgiving myself for not trusting through everything that was appearing to go 'wrong'!

I know many are also facing a lot of challenges right now and so much is being highlighted in our lives that needs are attention.
 
Uncomfortable feelings, wounding, choices, relationships that we've been avoiding/ignoring the acknowledgment of what we need to change.
 
And that change starts with us and acknowledging what we're trying to avoid within us.  
 
Shifts are happening, but we have to let go of the old to make the leap.

So with kindness and compassion, allow yourself to FEEL.
 
Be honest with yourself about what you know you need to change in your life.
 
Starting with what needs to change within you.
 
Are you listening to what you need?
 
Are you abandoning yourself?
 
Do you feel worthy and deserving of what you need and desire?
 
Do you allow yourself to receive?
 
The next time you feel triggered or have an uncomfortable emotion rising up from within, observe yourself and notice if you try to ‘run’ from it.
 
Do you allow yourself to acknowledge what's happening in you, or do you distract yourself?
 
Do you project what you're feeling onto someone else?
 
There's no judgement here, but just observe yourself with curiosity and see if you can start to understand yourself a little more and what you're trying to show yourself.
 
What is trying to get your attention….from the inside?
 
What part of you is hurting and needs LOVE and reassurance?
 
Can you be there for yourself?
