In preparation for the Coventry Big Bike Ride on Sunday 10 September the following information may help you with any travel arrangements during the day.
Coventry City Council is working with TfWM to help you prepare to plan ahead and receive the latest information on temporary road closures and diversions, changes to parking controls and travel advice. It may be that staff travel to work, access and deliveries may be affected during the Event.
There will be some changes to traffic conditions on roads around Coventry on Sunday 10
September. The information regarding the affected roads and bus diversions are available

If you are travelling into Coventry Centre you are encouraged to travel by public transport,
cycling or walking.
Travelling by Bus:
The following Coventry Bus services will be affected by the road closures:
12X and 11 (towards the City Centre only) will not serve Little Park Street, Earl Street, Cox
Street or Fairfax Street. The nearest stopping places for these services are Pool Meadow Bus
Station and New Union Street.
Mile Lane bus service 21 will use Quinton Road (Service 17 bus stops) and Daventry Road
instead of Mile Lane and Queen Isabel’s Avenue.

Travelling by Rail
Please plan your journey in advance using the Transport for West Midlands journey planner.
Services may be busier so please plan ahead.
Walking and Cycling:
If you are not attending the event and are travelling by vehicle, it is recommended to avoid the area or use the designated diversion routes.
