We gathered at Asian Mall, Westminster last September 9, 2023, to embrace the traditions and unity of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

This event was a shining example of how different cultures can come together to create something truly beautiful. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and made this festival a resounding success!

 

Little Saigon TV (LSTV) Moon Lantern Festival was an enchanting celebration of culture, art, and community. With vibrant performances, artistry, and heartfelt connections, it was a day to remember. Together with different partners, we illuminated the Moon Fest with our collective brilliance.

 

We lit up the night at the @vietfilmfest Launch Party, presented by @vaalacommunity x @thevietnamesepodcast, last September 16, 2023. It was an unforgettable evening of films, fun, and the magic of Vietnamese cinema. We gathered at The Circle OC, 8901 Warner Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, to kickstart the excitement for Viet Film Fest.

Harvest good spirits at our second annual Santa Ana Mid-Autumn Festival on October 7, 2023. Also known as the Moon Festival, this event highlights Asian cultures and the Vietnamese members of our community. Traditionally this festival is meant to be a celebration of the fall harvest and full moon, a time when families get to enjoy each other's company and the bountiful harvests after a year of labor and care. The event is free and family-friendly.

Allensworth Rededication Event

Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park is holding a celebratory “re-dedication” event on Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In partnership, Amtrak San Joaquins has scheduled a special stop at the park for multiple trains, bookable at a 50 percent discount rate to bring travelers to the historically significant Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park.

Korean World Expo 2023

Previously known as "Hansang", the World Korean Business Convention  kicked off in 2002 with about 968 participants from more than 28 countries. WKBC will be held from October 11, 2023 (Wed) through October 14, 2023 (Sat) at Anaheim Convention Center.

 

The Convention has been held annually in South Korea since 2002 to 2022. On its 21st year, WKBC will be held outside of Korea for the first time, starting with California, USA. As WKBC ventures outside Korea, it hopes to stamp its impact abroad and facilitate dialogue with non-Korean businesses.

Dia de Los Muertos — San Diego

It's the time of the year where we reunite the living and the dead. The tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) continues in Old Town this year. But of course, things will look: little different. 

 

Old Town San Diego will have a Mercado de Arte at the north side of the lot across from the Market, Theatre and Trolley stop on Saturday October 28-29th. On November 2nd Old Town will be hosting the traditional procession to the El Campo Santo cemetery displaying a public altar.

Dia de Los Muertos — Viva La Vida

The streets will be alive with culture, tradition, and beautiful tributes to loved ones. Join us and celebrate Die de Muertos in our hometown of Santa Ana.  The festival features traditional Altares built by community members and organizations, Artisan vendors, music & entertainment, and food trucks.
