As a concept coined by renowned psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, flow state does not result from relaxing or living without stress, but by engagement in intense activities that fully absorb your attention.
Modern mindfulness touts the benefits of a regular meditation practice to achieve a more regular flow state. We agree. But, we also want to up the ante because finding flow in any given moment isn't just a switch you turn on and off through meditation. It's a practice, a rhythm, an embodiment and a state of being.
It’s about listening to your body, adjusting your lifestyle and nutritional needs during seasonal shifts, and creating boundaries supporting life cycles and changes.
