Life Lately Late summer, early fall is always a hectic time for both me and Esscents of Flowers. A majority of weddings are scheduled during this time, along with the kids going back to school and sports kicking off. I am finally admitting after 4 years, I am a football mom… Those are words I never thought I would say, but it's true. My boys LOVE playing and I am the mom that cheers while watching through her fingers. The sound of the helmets and pads hitting one another gets me every time…YIKES. I also know none of the proper football terms, so in effort to try and fit in when all my guys are talking, I put all the terms I've heard over the years together. I think I'm funny, they do not (HAHAHAHA). We need a little laughter in our lives, life is too short and this world is ghetto… With that being said, here are a few things that's been going on :) |

Even though we are operating in a post-pandemic world, intimate weddings are still a huge hit! While some couples are wanting to celebrate their union with all their families and friends, I have noticed that more couples are opting for the smaller ceremony followed by brunch/lunch at their favorite restaurant. |

It's always a treat being in Thrive City, the energy is always high! Over the past three months, Kaiser Permanente and Thrive City partnered together to bring their Health and Wellness Sunday Series to the community. There were fitness sessions, Bay Area Vendors, local entertainment, sports courts, a wellness zone for kids and so much more! I had the honor of being one of the Bay Area Vendors and everybody WENT UP for the “Create Your Own Bouquet” Station! Check out the videos on IG. |

Lastly, my two little heartbeats are growing up so fast. Our oldest has been camping it up and our youngest has been confidently finding himself since he's transitioned to middle school. We're currently knee deep in high school decisions and discussions ranging from the new uniform policy and how not all jeans are created equal to colleges and life there-after. I am in awe of the people they are and who they are becoming. So, when I'm not creating, I'm spending time with them… busy creating the best memories! |
