A ten-minute workout to wake up, some breathing exercises, dropping the kiddo off at school, and then I'm off!

Audiobook listeners love bloopers! Do you have a favorite blooper you’ve saved or author pickup you’ve gotten during the recording process that has stuck with you?
SG:
The one that sticks with me is getting a pickup that I had to redo, like, 3 times because I kept making the same mistake. "dishwasher blond" instead of "dishwater blond." But, really, any mid-sex scene pickup is usually.....interesting.
SFN:
What's your favorite part of the process?
SG:
I love being in the meat of a really good emotional scene.
SFN:
If you could spend either a week in the past or a week in the future, where and when would you go?
SG:
To the past--I would enter the industry sooner and smarter.
SFN:
Fun fact?
SG:
For one of my first commercial VO auditions, the agent asked that you get a guy to read with you. Any guy, didn't have to be an actor. They just wanted you to read with . My husband, a contract lawyer with no interest in performing, read the script with me. He got the part, and I didn't! He had to leave his law firm in the middle of the day, dressed in his expensive suit, and record the commercial. He was very uncomfortable because they wanted him to say "hhhmmmm" like he was enjoying eating something. He said he did not take direction well.
