Farrant News
Dear First name / friend, What a powerful season we are in! God continues to be faithful to His promises! First of all, we want to thank you so much for your prayers and support as we have been plowing the way for so many new visions that God has placed on our hearts. We honestly could not do this without your support!

A huge shout out to all of the teams who have partnered with us over the last several months. From June to September, we hosted 11 mission teams! We are so overwhelmed with gratitud for each and every team member who made the sacrifice to come and serve alongside our ministry. Your hard work and dedication to advancing the Kingdom of God has made an eternal impact!

Orphanage Update

We continue to be very active in finalizing all of the Orphanage details. Over the summer we were finally assigned a case worker through the El Salvador government. With her help, we have been working through the very extensive required paperwork process. Because we are dealing with children, everything has to be submitted through the government and our entire caretaking plan must be developed until it receives final approval from government. These requirements include details such as: which doctor will be used to check each child, how often will they be checked out, what will their bedtime routine look like, what are our expectations of the nana's, what will the admissions process look like when a new child comes to our home? Basically it feels like we are writing a thesis for a doctorate program.

We are getting closer to the finish line and closer to rescuing children! While the time line has not been to the speed that we had hoped for, we know that God is never late and His timing is best.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9

THE ADDICTION RECOVERY HOUSE
I love it when God brings a plan together…

Ready, Set, GOOOO!!!!!
Our No Greater Love men's addiction recovery house has officially opened!

The enemy has had a stronghold in our region for way too long! A couple of years ago, I noticed more and more young people were getting chained down to the bondage of addiction. It became very normal to walk the streets and see an addict passed out on the sidewalk. The Lord began to profoundly stir my heart. He would remind me of who the addicts were. I would hear, “This is someones son, someones father, someones brother…” Then I received the news of yet another death in our area due to addiction. That's when I began to pray, “God if you grant me the provision, I will build a house and rescue these addicts off the streets."

Just a week or so after saying that prayer look at what God began to do:
- Fall of 2022 God blessed us with a beautiful ocean view property to start an addiction recovery home. We began the construction of our first house in September of 2022.
- Summer of 2023 we were able to complete the construction of the first house
- September of 2023 we elected the team of directors. (This team is comprised of local pastors from our area.)

Our team of directors is fired up! They all have a great passion to reach and disciple the lost. One day a week the team gets together and goes out in the communities, reaching the addicts with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Please pray, as our goal is to fill the house with 20 recovered addicts by the end of the year.
Current Needs For The NGL Men's Recovery House:
- Monthly budget for 2024. Our monthly operational budget for 2024 is $2500 a month. This budget will include salaries for the staff, meals for the recovering addicts, and housing expenses (water, electric, internet). We are in need to raise monthly sponsorships in order to cover this expenses.
- 6 bunkbeds. Each bunkbed costs $400 with the mattress.
- Couch set. $500
- Kitchen cabinets and more cookware. $1200
- Van for transportation and evangelism outreaches.

- Praying for addicts on the street         - Continued contstruction at the recovery house         - Our first addict detoxing.

As it says in Matthew 18: “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?”  This is our goal, to find the ONE who has wandered off and lead them back to Jesus.

Many Blessings,

Jonathan & Alicia
