This is a stunning Yew Tree at Newlands Corner, over 1000 years old.

When I finally said goodbye to my lingerie career in March 2020, I needed the healing benefits of nature more than ever.

 

As I was going through a deeper level of soul searching, the connection and appreciation on my daily walks went to a whole new level.

 

It was like I was starting to see everything more clearly with eyes of wonder and I didn’t feel alone.

 

I started to see all the magic that surrounds us. I started to see the sacred geometry in the plants and flowers. I started to ‘see’ the faces in the clouds, in the trees, the lichen.

 

All the nature and tree spirits were connecting with me, and I saw it all in a whole new light, it was amazing!

 

I started to take photograph after photograph to capture what I was seeing. Here’s some examples of the beauty and magic of the nature around us!

This cheeky little dragon is one of my favourites! What tends to happen as I'm walking, I'll get drawn to a particular spot and then I'll either see it straight away with my naked eye, or I'll see it through the lens of the camera. Isn't she cute! 

 

I had just walked past this tree, but then felt called to go back and take a picture. It was through the lens I saw this face, I'm not sure who was more shocked! ;-)

This dragon face I saw a couple of weeks ago where again, I felt called to turn back and look at this tree stump. I say dragon, but I feel he's also a little something else too, but can't quite put my finger on it! 

I loved this little fella just hanging magically in thin air! You could hardly see the fine thread, so it looked like he was floating in the air! So magical and yet many people walked by completely oblivious!

Magical light and portals! Where would you go?!
