Hi friends,
I'm back! After a summer pause, school is literally back in session and that means I have more time to spend here with you. I've missed writing to you every week and am happy to be connecting again.
Something I love about this time of year is the feeling of being able to start again. September marks the start of the school year here in NY and with that comes the opportunity for renewal. It's a season brimming with anticipation, the perfect opportunity to set new intentions and goals. And not to be that person, but it also means that as of today, we only have 100 days left before 2024!
I'm reminded of a project from Michelle Poler, who a few years ago, embarked on a 100-day journey to face her fears. She made a list of all the things that scared her, from skydiving to going to an event by herself to even quitting her job. She faced one of these fears every single day for 100 days and documented it on YouTube. I imagine she didn't know how her life would turn out based on this project, but since she went viral with it, she went on to empower millions of people to step outside of their comfort zone and tap into their full potential. You can watch her old videos and hear her inspiring story on the Mel Robbins podcast (jump to 18:47).
What I love about Michelle's story is how candid she is about how scary the whole journey felt for her. So often I think we see these people from afar who seem successful, but we don't know how they're doing behind the scenes. Her whole project was about feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
So that brings me to some closing questions.
How will you spend your next 100 days?
Will you stay in your comfort zone or push against your growth edge?
When you think of the next 100 days, what's the BEST that could happen?
Wishing you a sweet weekend!
✨✨✨✨
Much love,
Lisa
