Congratulations on deciding to go to Guatemala! Our office here at Crossroads Missions is excited to team up with your Canvas leaders. Together, we have been hard at work preparing for your trip and praying that it will be life-changing. Can you believe that you fly out in three months?! We hope that you are getting excited!
You will be receiving periodic emails from us. Please make sure that you read each one. They will contain important information that will help you prepare, plan, and pack for your trip.
Here are five great ways for you to start getting ready: - Pray daily for God to use you in 2 or 3 specific ways on this trip.
- Think through the details of your testimony and then practice sharing it in 3-4 minutes with a friend or family member. If you have questions on how to do this, please send us an email and let us know. We would love to set up a time to help you practice this.
- Have you accessed your Giving Fuel page yet? You should have received an email with a link to your team's Giving Fuel page. If you have not accessed it yet, click on the link below to access that page. Giving Fuel is an online fundraising page that you should share with family and friends to make donations towards your trip. If you have not paid your deposit yet, please make that payment on Giving Fuel this week.
- Our office needs to have a copy of your passport. If you have not sent us a copy of your passport yet, please upload it on your custom team page as soon as possible.
- You will be receiving an invitation to a group texting app called GroupMe. Keep an eye out for that invitation this week. Once you receive the invite, download the app and start using it to get to know your teammates. This will also be a great place to share quick updates and ask questions!
