How to Make a Fake Plant Look Real
 
With our new market inventory coming soon to the 5C Home Store here's a tip/trick on how we use and style our floral and greenery sprigs in our home to give the 
real plant illusion.
Steps:
  • Find the perfect sprig
  • Find a pot to match your home style
  • Anchor sprig with green foam block
  • If extra support needed hot glue foam block to inside the bottom of pot
  • Fill pot with REAL soil for Real Plant Look Alike Illusion
  • Wahh-LA

Winnsboro Art & Wine Festival
 
OUR FAVORITE EVENT IS ALMOST HERE AGAIN! This is another annual Fall event that happens here in Winnsboro! IF your new here or you live out of town, this is definitely one worth the trip to Winnsboro! Be sure to TUNE in to NEXT Month's Newsletter for more info and AIRBNB Options available to you!! 
 
 This popular, juried festival attracts talented participating artists from around the country. In addition to the variety of art, Texas wineries show off award-winning wines by providing tastings and bottles for sale. Specialty foods and other vendors attend as well. This year, live music provides entertainment on both Friday and Saturday.
 
The Winnsboro Art & Wine Festival is an art and wine lover’s mecca with a bountiful feast for the eyes, heart, and soul. We’re serious about our arts culture in Winnsboro. Our Cultural Arts District was one of the first of seven locations to receive the official Cultural District Designation from the State of Texas in 2009 and we’ve been moving and shaking things up ever since.

Their Story
 Derrick is originally from Arlington, Texas and grew up in the Fort Worth area. After graduating
from Texas Tech he spent several years in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Colorado
before returning to Texas. 
 
Amelia grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Colorado for college. They met and married in Colorado over 17 years ago. 
 
Derrick and Amelia were living in
Weatherford, TX with their two young children and honestly, thought they would raise their kids
all the way through there. Dear friends of the Hamiltons relocated to Winnsboro and when they
visited they fell in love with the town. The pine trees and forests and how green and lush the
area is compared to West Texas, as well as the small town charm, and affordability won their
hearts. 
 
After looking at only one house, the one they currently own, they jumped in with both

Haven's Cafe opened their doors on June 2, 2022
 
Haven’s Café is a full service casual restaurant serving delicious traditional American Breakfast and lunch items in the heart of Downtown Winnsboro. 
 
While the base menu is simple and small they offer daily specials that keep folks coming back again and again. Look for favorites like their hand breaded Pecan Crusted Chicken Sandwich, Stuffed Meatloaf, Pasta dishes and Gourmet Hamburger steaks.

Haven’s Café is excited to be expanding their catering and Private Party offerings. The beautiful ambience inside creates a perfect space to host events like wedding receptions, baby showers, and special birthdays. They also have the ability to off-site cater and bring their culinary delights to any event desired.
