It's time for our second annual Asmbly Maker Market!  This market is by far the most unique one in town, where you can buy handcrafted items directly from the artists who make them amongst the machines they used to create them.  Last year was a blast with music, drinks, and food from several of our local favorites.  The Make Your Own Merch activities at our Brand Rollout Party were a huge hit, so we're bringing that back for AMM as well.

There's a lot going on at Asmbly and several ways to get involved.  Come socialize with other makers and learn how you can get more involved in the space.  If you aren't a member yet, this is a great way to get to know folks in the community.

In case you missed it above, we're having an open gallery night for the incredible work submitted to our 2x2 Maker Competition.  Grab a friend and join us this Friday for light snacks and good conversation with artists of Asmbly.

Join us for our second Starlight Social!  Female and non-binary identifying members are invited to join us on Thursday, October 19th, anytime from 9 pm to 1 am for a late night maker social session.  Follow us on social media for info on special guests!

 

Every hour we’ll have a 15 minute social and snack break with an invitation for a voluntary show n’ tell of your work in progress.  Get those late night creative juices flowin' and come meet others from your creative community.  We look forward to seeing you there!

For this month’s field trip we will head out to Marble Falls to tour Slow Wave Dental!  We will get to see how they utilize 3D printing to aid in devices for medical conditions like sleep apnea.  Afterwards, we'll head over to Bluebonnet Cafe nearby where Asmbly will pick up the first $50 on the tab.  Chat with members on Discourse to make carpooling plans and join us to learn more 3D printing applications!

We pushed our quarterly work day back by one month.  This is an especially important work day where we'll need as much help as possible in preparation for our maker market the following weekend.  Keep an eye out in your email for more details about this work day and how you can help out.
