When you are on a cancer journey, every day matters.  Every milestone is a celebration.  For us, we feel the same way about My Cancer Family.  We are now 1! Last summer we launched this newsletter and then our website and so many of you have shared or passed our emails, newsletters, or numbers along to friends and family.   We see you in San Antonio, and Des Moines, Virgina, Spain, Portugal and New York.

It feels difficult to share HAPPY Cancer news when we also know so many going through difficult times without such positive news.  But, we have to celebrate the WINS! 

 

Meet 78 year old Benita.  After 6 months of tests, procedures, many biopsies, PT scans and differing opinions, Benita (also Denise’s mom) decided to have surgery to remove a suspicious nodule in her lung.  It wasn’t an easy decision.  Read more and she has a few words of wisdom, hacks and products for anyone else going through surgery!
