Photo Quilts -
Preserving Memories

Have you ever used photos in a quilt? I have done it a couple of times but recently took on a project that uses this idea - for the whole quilt. While doing some research on the idea - I came across this article written by Cara Stromness for Madam Sew. This technique is the perfect option for making memory quilts - and Cara walks us through the process she used to create a memory quilt for a friend.

So Many Suggestions - Thank you!

I asked for your advice, and you delivered! In case you missed it, in the last newsletter I asked for some advice about needle threaders.

Dozens of you jumped in with your preferences, suggestions - and your frustrations with them. Two of you even had the same (completely awesome) idea for making those cheap wire ones with the foil paper - a little more sturdy. I'm going to give that idea a try myself - and then I'll share it with all of you too.

I have so many to check out - before I'm good with offering any of them in the shop. I'm on a mission to find the few that work best for me (and hopefully for you too).

PS: I've got something exciting to share in the next newsletter. I've been working on it for a long time - (it seems like forever) and I can't wait to share it with you!
