Lydia is chaos. Milton is boring as hell. And together, they make excellent reality TV.

If you have no clue who I'm referring to, then I assume you have some self-respect and value your time and brain cells—at least compared to someone like me, who chooses to spend her very finite time on earth watching Love is Blind.

(Here's my excuse: I spend day in and day out using every creative and strategic neuron in my brain for my design clients, so I think I DESERVE A LITTLE TRASH TV, thankyouverymuch.)

Anyway. If you've never seen the show, allow me to explain:

Contestants on the show go on blind dates in "pods" where they can talk to potential partners—but not see them. The whole setup is designed to have the couples build emotional connections before ever seeing each other.

If they want to see each other, however, they must get engaged. They are then whisked away to a couples retreat at some tropical destination to see if their love can survive in the real world.

It's unhinged. It's wild. And it's also… the best way to spend a few Friday evenings. ;P

This current season (#5) is particularly dramatique, (and I can't even get into all the tea rn) but it's thanks in part to Lydia and Milton

Lydia is driven solely by her emotions. She loves hard, feels deeply, & falls fast. She is loud, and bubbly, and colorful, and a little… insane. She's full of passion, and she was most certainly a jackpot for the Love is Blind casting team, because where Lydia goes, chaos follows.

Milton, on the other hand, is quiet & analytical, practical, and calm… you get the gist. He's a straight shooter, a level-headed guy who just so happens to be in love with Lydia.

And y'know what they say about opposites.

Without Milton, Lydia would be running around like a chicken with her head cut off, still desperate (and I mean DESPERATE) to find love.

And without Lydia, Milton probably wouldn't have made it as a “featured storyline” on the show, because although he's a cutie, he's too boring.

They go together like reality TV peanut-butter-and-jelly, captivating all of us and keeping Netflix's ratings super high.

And First name / friend, I want your website to have that same effect.

It's great to have stunning design that keeps your audience scrolling, “getting" you, and falling head over heels for your services.

It's also great to have strategic, high-converting content sections that sell your expertise, have great UX, and are SEO-optimized.

But one without the other is like a Lydia without a Milton, or a Milton without a Lydia. Something's ~missing~.

You need a designer who can #doitall.

… and uh… hey ;) You know where to find her. Especially on Friday nights. (Read: sitting on my couch in front of the TV.)

Q1 is often my busiest time for inquiries, so if that's true for you too, let's do your website now!

I've got 4 spots left for Website in a Day or Website in a Week in late Oct/early Nov. Then it's off to the races in 2024!

xoxo,
Sarah Kleist
