Destination Boarding with Calrossy Anglican School
Happy Thursday to you all and welcome to our takeover by Calrossy Anglican School based at Tamworth in NSW.
I say ‘based’ because did you know that Calrossy has students sitting in home based ‘classrooms’ right across Australia learning in real time? Whether they're remote students, high performance athletes or kids just not ready for boarding school - there's an array of reasons why the eCalrossy model suits families.
It's innovative and it's certainly changing the face of ‘distance learning’ for so many kids - I was at first intrigued by the model when they introduced it and now I'm truly impressed.
The students learning from home do spend time on campus at Calrossy, giving them a ‘soft’ introduction to what it's like to be a boarder living away from home and if they can, many will finish their secondary education on campus. 
There's so much more to discover at Calrossy and their takeover today is a great starting point.

The Calrossy journey is one focussed on the success and wellbeing of every student, from Preschool to Year 12.
It is a journey where every individual can learn, grow and serve in an inspiring environment. Located in Tamworth, North West NSW, we have around 1000 students, featuring  Calrossy 7-9 and Senior Secondary with Secondary offering both Day and Boarding, as well as eCalrossy the distance education program for students from Years 5-9.
Our unique structure places Years 7-9 in single gender classes on the sprawling William Cowper Campus. Our Year 10-12 students are in co-educational classes on the specialised Senior Campus at Brisbane Street. Meantime, our innovative distance education model allows students to access a quality education from home and learn in real time.
Calrossy is a place where students grow to be adults of faith, integrity, courage and compassion, with a love of learning.
