Birth Mark is a registered charity in Toronto and Hamilton Greater Areas. In our short 5 years we have already supported thousands of folks and families for free through all kinds of non-medical needs related to pregnancy and reproduction.
DID YOU KNOW OUR DOULAS DO AMAZING WORK?
We have over 50 trained birth, postpartum and abortion doulas on our team. Each doula operates separately as a contractor. They provide their own flare and style when working with and supporting clients, but everyone at Birth Mark ultimately works to uphold the same core values of Community Care, Inclusivity, Respect, Relationship, Integrity, Social Justice, and Continuous Learning.
DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE A DONATIONS CENTRE CALLED JOANNA'S GIVING WALL?
In Hamilton and in Toronto, we take used and donated pregnancy and baby items from the community and redistribute them to our clients for free! We are also always in need of new packs of diapers and unopened body care products for the Giving Wall. Millions of dollars of products have been cycled through our centre already. DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE AN ABORTION SUPPORT PROGRAM?
Folks can self-refer into this free program when they are looking for a doula to help them through abortion. This care can look like many things, sometimes just seeking information, sometimes getting help advocating for themselves and their rights, and sometimes a physical presence before, during or after a procedure. DID YOU KNOW OUR CLIENTS ACCESS FREE NATUROPATHIC, INFANT CST, AND FEEDING CLINICS?
Approved Birth Mark clients are able to have appointments with our certified practitioners to support their needs. Our clinicians have seen hundreds of clients, many coming back with their following pregnancies and babies for support and guidance they know they can depend on. DID YOU KNOW BIRTH MARK IS AT RISK OF CLOSING?
