October 15th Emergency Update

3. Nourishing Soldiers on the Northern Border: We are providing food supplies and warm clothes to soldiers serving on the Northern Border through our partnership with the “El Hayam” organization in Kiryat Haim.

4. Emergency financial assistance to families from Kfar Aza, Netiv Ha'asara, Nahal Oz, and more: These families were victims of the terrorist attacks on October 7th, survived by a miracle, and came out alive. Financial assistance will ease, even if only slightly, their immediate and essential needs.

5. Aid for Evacuated Families and Soldiers: In Lod, we are ensuring evacuated families and soldiers are not left hungry. We are supporting our friends at Patisserie Lilly, in providing nourishing food to those who have been displaced and to soldiers.

6. Caring for Children and Families: The impact of recent events is especially hard on children and families. We're providing activity kits for kids and crucial socio-emotional support in Lod through “Potchim Atid” for Jewish and Arab children. Additionally, in the Haifa area, our collaboration with the Heine Community Center is supporting socio-emotional activities for children, helping them cope during these incredibly challenging times.

7. Volunteering: Yahel’s Spanish-speaking fellows translated social media content from English to Spanish amplifying the voices of survivors of the Oct. 7th attacks.

Together, we are supporting our partners as they bring hope, sustenance, and comfort to those who need it most. Thank you for standing with us and making all of this possible. We will continue to update you on our progress, and your ongoing support will continue to make a significant impact.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Yahel Israel Team
