Law Blank (studio owner) with some of his glitter work. That's right, I said GLITTER!
(You truly need to see his work in person.)
I'm so excited to be showing at the studio of awesome local artist and amazing human being: Law Blank, along with two other inspiring contemporary artists: Alexandre De Assunção, and Brandon McNeill.

No traditional paintings of "barns and buckets" in this show, folks. (Not that there's anything wrong with that). Law is bringing a more modern aesthetic to Chester County, and I'm here for it.
Come join us for our November POP-UP show. See the mesmerizing and bold work from Brazilian artist Alex Assunção, the cultural pulse and humor of Karen McCool, and the raw and kinetic expressionism of Brandon McNeill.

“  Contemporary art does live in Chester County...and slowly but surely, it is coming out of the woodwork; thank goodness!

It is my great honor to present the works of these three artist, whose work sings to me and captivates my thoughts. Cerebral, fun, graphical, topographical, cultural, and a million other poignant adjectives describes the work of these wonderful and driven artists.

It is my mission, along with a number of growing venues featuring contemporary art, to ensure diverse, challenging, unexpected, and thought-provoking work has a chance to be shared with the local area.

I want all our visitors to be able to share in this work, without the feeling like they are intruding on some elite private party. You are all guests, you are all valued. So come and take this in and maybe you will fall in love with this work like I have, or even better, you did something you might not have thought of ... you supported local contemporary art and grew a little.

This exciting group exhibition features a blend of over 10 talented artists, each bringing their unique and diverse styles to our walls. From abstract expressionism, contemporary realism and bold pop art, we are excited to have you join us this Saturday!”

Hope to see you Friday, November 3rd!

(If you can't make it to the opening, I'd be happy meet you there at another date and time for a more personal tour of the work, that fits your schedule.)

Cheers,
Karen
