SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE
NOVEMBER, 2023

Oh, the wonderful season of GRATITUDE…

Our special Thanksgiving holiday is upcoming this month and so a time to GIVE THANKS!! I really make a conscious effort to pause at least once each day to thank God for my blessings, but I’m so happy we dedicate one full day each year to formally acknowledge the gratitude in our hearts – sharing it with family and friends all gathering in some fashion to share in the day.

I am so fortunate to have beautiful relationships in my life…with my fiancée Dan and all the special friends, family, clients, and business partners whom I cherish. I am grateful for my healthy mind and fit body, for my curious nature, for my business for which I am wildly passionate, and for the courage to speak my truths and live authentically. I find when you take time to focus on gratitude, there isn’t enough space in your mind or your soul to focus on the negatives and the challenges.

We all have those too, but when faced with them, I acknowledge them and give thanks for my resilience and resolve in handling them. Jump up – dust off – and keep moving forward with conviction! I am especially grateful for all of you who honor me by reading this newsletter each month! May God continue to bless you with His love and grace.

Fall started out with a flurry of activity for my business! We had two wonderful Private VIP Jewelry Trunk Show events…one in September with Annamaria Cammilli, and one in October with Vahan Jewelry. I reported on the fun and unique Cammilli show in my October newsletter, and I’d love to share details on our October Vahan show. It was held on October 25th, and we had 45 special friends and clients participate in the evening with Vahan Jewelry. The feedback was heart-warming and inspiring.

I love when my guests feel pampered and special! Everyone loved the beautiful barn venue owned by Brenda and Paul Schaff, the amazing food by Chef Dan Starke and his co-chef Patrick Schultz, and the signature beverages. Vahan Jewelry which is “Jewelry for Every Lifestyle”…did not disappoint and everyone had a grand time trying on the hundreds of styles!

Many took home jewelry items which really spoke to their hearts and “they just had to have”! Each guest left with a sumptuous and beautifully decorated caramel apple covered in chocolate, nuts, berries and candy! Our guests were thrilled to be invited to such an exclusive event and shared they’d love an invitation for the next event!  Check out the great event photos below!

With Christmas season fast approaching, my focus will be on finding you special engagement and jewelry gift ideas for the holidays. Reach out to me and I can talk to you about these two special designer lines – Cammilli & Vahan – plus a whole host of other beautiful jewelry choices.

With so much love,

Kat

Everything You Need to Know About the Miss Universe Diamond Crowns
“Since its first-ever pageant in 1952, the Miss Universe competition has bestowed its winners with a stunning crown made of some of the world’s most precious materials, including diamonds. From crowns specially made for the international pageant to royal headpieces given to the organization, they have always been show-stoppers.

Throughout the pageant’s almost 70-year history, 10 crowns have been made or passed onto the pageant and crowned upon the head of the winner. Some of the early crowns were made with pearls and rhinestones, but the more recent crowns, including this year’s Mouawad stunner, the Force for Good crown, have been covered in diamonds.

“The Force for Good crown is a work of extraordinary craftsmanship,” said Fred Mouawad at the crown’s unveiling in December 2022. “It’s a crown filled with symbolism. And we hope it will inspire not only the winners, but all of you to be a force for good.” He added that the crown represents “a future forged by women who push the limits of what’s possible”.

Click on the link below to see a glimpse of some of the pageant’s most favorite crowns and fun facts about the diamond pieces.

I will be hosting vendor booths during the holidays for Ladies Holiday Boutique Shopping Events held at two of Milwaukee’s finest private clubs…Tuckaway Country Club and Ozaukee Country Club.

I did events at these clubs last November/December and met some amazing women who came with their friends to enjoy the food and festivities and of course, the great shopping with all the various vendors. My table was a flurry of activity with women trying on jewelry, making wish lists, and even buying jewelry and other fun gift accessories.

I know this year will be no different and I will once again have fun nights.  I will feature the Vahan Jewelry line and I know many women will find these designs irresistible as do I!

WHAT’S HOT IN JEWELRY FOR THE HOLIDAYS?

DIAMONDS! DIAMONDS! DIAMONDS!

This is the year of the diamond earrings, diamond pendants and diamond bracelets!!  Classic and fashion diamond pieces are timeless, and most every woman wants them in her jewelry wardrobe!  Natural “God-grown” diamonds are still the favorite – but created “Lab-grown” diamonds are gaining in popularity.

They are both considered “diamonds” sharing the same physical and optical properties.  One takes millions of years to form…the other months. And only a Graduate Gemologist like me can tell you the true difference.  I offer both types of diamonds to my clients as everyone has their own taste, budget and philosophy when choosing the perfect diamond jewelry for themselves.

I can find or design the perfect diamond jewelry for you…at a “smarter spend” as I only procure things for my clients via their special request to work their me – their “Private Gemologist” to find the best quality at a perfectly fair value!  Contact me or book a call with me to choose the most amazing diamond engagement rings and diamond fashion jewelry to fit your lifestyle!

THE OCTOBER TRUNK SHOW WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!!
45 guests had a wonderful time enjoying the luxury ambiance of an amazing barn venue, eating delicious food prepared by our Chef Dan, and trying on VAHAN jewelery designs—jewelery for every lifestyle. Everyone felt pampered and special.

Returning borrowed things in the same…or better…condition than you received them in.

That sounds like a no brainer doesn’t it? It’s common sense to assume this is the case, but I can tell you from experience, it doesn’t always work that way. Now accidents do happen, but then you either repair or replace the item or never expect that person to be willing to loan you anything in the future. Well, maybe except for your mother! Hah! Even if it was dirty…like a garden rake…clean it before returning it. If you borrowed a car for an errand, put a few dollars of gas in it…fill it a bit more than when you received it!  It will be so appreciated!

And then, upon returning the borrowed item, give just a small token of your appreciation with it like a written thank you, a small baked good, or a tiny gift. I can tell you that person will rush to your aid when you need to borrow again in the future. You’re creating a good reputation for being a considerate borrower.

“It’s in giving that we receive” so be a generous lender too. Watch your borrower’s actions to see if they are good stewards in caring for your lent items. If not, tell them of your disappointment so they can learn from their shortcomings and do better the next time.

What “karma” are you creating? See my October newsletter for the rules of karma and how they affect your life.
