Designing a Dream

C’est ici Design launches the highly anticipated residential and lifestyle luxury living in collaboration with NAGA Architects for Nakheel Properties. The 12 luxury beach villas at the Palm Jebel Ali are a seamless union of aesthetic appeal and are a part of the premium projects at the island.

Stretching as the longest coastline of any destination in Dubai and boasting 91 kilometers of potential beachfront, Palm Jebel Ali is set on 13.4 square kilometers of land. The island offers over 80 hotels, resorts, and about 35,000 homes to create Dubai's most sustainable and luxurious development.

The island is located within Dubai’s rapidly developing southern urban center and will feature seven islands and 16 fronds while designing a people-centric high quality of life. Offering extensive green spaces, pedestrian mobility, smart-city technology, and a variety of attractions, it is set to become the perfect place to live, work, and raise a family.

C’est ici Design crafts a perfect recipe for a family-centred luxury villa that makes every space an element of storytelling, links between design generations and functions, and becomes a host to envision the future. The studio conceptualized highly specific moods and experiences for each villa prototype based on the client’s lifestyles to evoke an uncluttered, practical layout and harmonize the community.

C’est ici Design combines the four villa typologies, Beach, Sands, Shore, and Peninsula, with earthy design tones. Each villa is impervious to trends and achieves intentional balance, harmony, and flow between all the connected areas. Inspired by the characteristic design language and layout for each area’s function and users, the villas emblem dreams, desires, and tranquility.

The studio defines all 12 luxury villas through common design attributes and formulates the concepts to express differences through various design styles. Refined, honest, textured, tailored, and curated are a few of the common attributes that unite the design concepts of the villas. Rooted in the elements of the earth, namely, Agua, Tierra, and Mineral, the villas are distinguished by a color spectrum.

With these elements of the earth evoking feelings of serenity within the residents, each tone is juxtaposed to formulate connections with its surroundings. Agua (colder tones) incites a feeling of being in connection with its immediate surroundings; Tierra (neutral tones) invokes the sanctity of a temple, out of time and space, and Mineral (bold tones) resonates with the style of the city.

The material palette blends serenity and tranquility, alternating between a warm, comfortable, and organic mood. Walnut wood, textured cladding, rustic touches, travertine, and light-toned soft furnishings combine with curated accessories and statement furniture to create lavish, modern, and calming spaces.

The meticulous storytelling approach in each of these ready-to-live villas ensures a distinctive mood and experience for each space. It resonates with the lifestyle and expectations of the lavish lifestyles of the prospective homeowners. As the design studio emphasizes, “Behind a design, there is a story; behind the story, there is C’est ici Design”.

The Palm Jebel Ali is an unparalleled experience evoking a sense of extravagance in the heartland of Dubai. Each aspect of the living experience is a commitment by Nakheel, NAGA Architects, and C’est ici Design to create homes that exemplify the future of design, sustainability, and luxury.

Solaire Lounge
Cellar in the Sea by Veuve Clicquot
Downtown Design Dubai 2023 Edition

From the 8th to the 11th of November in D3, the leading design fair in the Middle East will take place.
Hosting both internationally renowned design brands and manufacturers alongside individual designers, collectives and studios from around the globe, with a spotlight on the region, Downtown Dubai is the annual point of connection, bringing together thought leaders and decision-makers of the global design stage.

We are proud to announce that C'est ici Design will also be there on a special collaboration with Veuve Clicquot.
C'est ici Design will be involved in the concept creation, development and execution of one of the most loved areas of the fair:
the Solaire Lounge by Veuve Clicquot.

Capturing the essence of the seaside, the lounge draws inspiration from a true story. The fortuitous unearthing of 47 Veuve Clicquot bottles in a shipwreck off the Aland Islands in the Baltic Sea in 2010, its content perfectly preserved in the cold, dark depths of the sea for nearly 200 years.
This discovery led to the launch of a program by the Maison dubbed “Cellar in the Sea”, an experiment with aging champagne deep below the surface of the Baltic Sea.
C'est ici Design developed the design and visitor experience around this rich storytelling.

C'est ici Design's process has always been emphasized in selling an experience that tells a unique story with unexpected features.
Given the solid inspiration from Veuve Clicquot, with “Cellar on the Sea”, the main aim was to accompany this beautiful story with a design aesthetic that complemented the main theme without being obvious and expected.

We cannot wait for the unveil of this beautiful project, in the meantime you can check out a short teaser of the behind the scenes below.

Tribeca Reveal

We're excited to reveal Project Tribeca, a distinctively crafted space that combines diverse styles and textures.

Overlooking the striking skyscrapers of Downtown, this apartment was designed to be dynamic and cozy. It uses a mix of materials, captivating artwork, and subtle pops of color to add a lively and custom environment. Full height windows and dark wood flooring provide that loft look and classic New York-style.

This design incorporates a range of materials, but the sectional bulbous sofa takes center stage, and the surrounding elements were carefully curated for a bold, relaxed, and sleek atmosphere.

We invite you to explore and experience this unique fusion of design.

FOCAL POINT
Let's talk about Bathroom Design

In the world of interior design, the choice of bathroom tiles can be a defining element of style and ambiance. Each tile style tells a unique story, transforming the bathroom into a canvas of creativity and comfort.
Let's dive into the top five styles that we feel will be the biggest trends in tiles for 2024.

1. Fluted Tiles:
These tiles, characterized by their graceful vertical grooves, have redefined the concept of texture in spaces. Their intricate play with light and shadow adds depth and sophistication to the space, imbuing it with a sense of opulence, that effortlessly elevate the bathroom's ambiance to that of a tranquil spa-like haven.

2. Micro cement:
Where modernity meets warmth, this material provides a clean look. Selecting a palette of soft and warm colors seamlessly combines sleek contemporary design with cozy undertones, encapsulating the essence of the space.

3. Stone:
The natural textures of the stone give the space depth and character, creating an atmosphere of organic luxury.

4. Travertine:
The timeless beauty of travertine tiles; these natural stones imbue the space with a warm, earthy elegance. Their textured surface adds depth and character, while the serene earthy palette fosters a tranquil ambiance.

5. Zellige Tiles:
These handcrafted mosaics in neutral colors not only add a touch of exotic charm but also reflect and play with the light in a way that imparts an airy feel to the space. Their gentle hues create a tranquil atmosphere, making the bathroom a calming retreat.

POWER PIECES

Cassina ‘s Sestiere vase by Patricia Urquiola. The last touch for this space. The mark of authenticity and a pop of color. Sestiere is a contemporary interpretation of the ancient mastery of glass art, typical of the island of Murano, Venice. The combination of the vivid colour of the vase, a mouth-blown glass ball, and the lattice of large contrasting-coloured cords that envelop it, almost harnessing it, lends great graphic impact. Made in Murano glass, each cord, or ‘morisa’, is applied by hand to the exterior of the vase. @cassinaofficial @viviumliving
