Alexia here with a free quilt pattern for you, Star Chain!

Piecing this quilt is fast and easy, and if you follow the pattern you can make two throw quilts at once using one Starry jelly roll and two different backgrounds to make two distinct quilts. I’ve written the instructions “choose your own adventure” style so you can also opt to follow the directions to just one or the other colorways too.

My new Starry collection is shipping to stores soon and I was so excited to receive my sample yardage and start sewing. I can’t believe the enthusiasm for the new group of this print, check out the #starryfabric hashtag on Instagram to get inspired and plan some projects before the collection drops.

This new Starry group includes a re-release of some of the original collection colors and some new hues. I also made a new Mini Starry print that is just tiny and cute. Like the original scale, it  is just so easy to use in projects.

Okay now for the details! Star Chain uses one Starry jelly roll, two different background fabrics, and just an extra quarter yard of one Starry print to create two throw quilts! The light background version uses some of the colorful Starry prints, and the dark background version uses the natural background Starry prints.
