As we move into the month of November, it’s time to welcome a new theme to The Self Care Space - Wholeness Within: Embracing Every Facet of You.
This month has been designed around wholeness within and the journey to inner peace. The dictionary describes wholeness as “the state of forming a complete and harmonious whole; unity”. To me, wholeness is truth. It’s our natural state of being. Our bodies are always trying to come back to peace, balance and harmony.
Life happens and there are many things which will continually throw us off balance - stress, trauma, lower vibrational emotions, negative thoughts - but our body is always trying to find its way back home to harmony.
"The body has its own way of knowing, a knowing that has little to do with logic, and much to do with truth, little to do with control, and much to do with acceptance, little to do with division and analysis, and much to do with union." - Gabor Maté.
Wholeness is an internal state, it’s truth, it’s acceptance. There is only one path to achieving wholeness, and that’s turning inward. This month we’ll be sharing classes and rituals thoughtfully designed to encourage introspection and reflection and explore the 5 core principles of wholeness:
1. Complete Awareness: Recognizing every part of oneself, even the hidden corners, to understand the full spectrum of who you are.
2. Unconditional Acceptance: Welcoming all aspects of yourself, the strengths and the vulnerabilities, without judgement.
3. Nurturing Love: Actively caring for and celebrating every facet of your being, from the triumphs to the lessons.
4. Harmonious Balance: Fostering equilibrium between the mind, body, and soul to cultivate true inner peace.
5. Continuous Growth: Leveraging self-awareness and self-love to drive personal evolution and deeper understanding.
Mantra: "In my wholeness, I find peace. In my acceptance, I find love."

The first class “Embracing All Of You" is ready for you now.
This 30-minute yoga flow is centred around self-compassion and kindness, guided by a poignant poem. You are invited to flow through poses with a focus on self-love and embrace heart-opening and balancing postures.
