We are only three weeks away from the world's largest day of giving
 
 #GivingTuesday2022 the community showed their support by helping MOKA raise over $6,000 for the people we serve. These funds went on to support expanding health initiatives, send people to summer camp with peers from the disability community, build garden boxes for residents to grow and cook their own food, and so much more. This year we hope we can count on your support to make even more of an impact on the lives of the people we serve! 
Your Support Is Needed Now More Than Ever…
Thank you to Good Morning America for shining a national spotlight on the Direct Support Professional (DSP) staffing crisis. DSPs provide daily care, companionship, and so much more for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their dedication is the backbone of our mission to support and empower these individuals. Despite the critical and complex care Direct Support Professionals provide, the reimbursement rate for DSPs from government funding falls short of adequately covering the expenses associated with their invaluable services.
