Thank you to our outstanding editorial team: my co-editor President Luís Roberto Barroso, and our associate editors Elisa Amorim Boaventura, Maria Letícia Borges, Bruno Santos Cunha, Matheus de Souza Depieri, Júlia Quintão Frade, and David Sobreira. A New Journal
The inaugural issue of the new French Yearbook of Public Law is now published in open access. The focus of this first issue is Climate Change and Public Law. Under the leadership of Jean-Bernard Auby, Philippe Cossalter, Dominique Custos and Giacinto della Cananea, the FYPL has three main goals: (1) to expose English readers to French public law debates; (2) to expose France to scholarly developments and ideas from abroad; and (3) to foster cross-national exchange. These are worthy aims. I am pleased to be a member of the FYPL's International Scientific Council.
Meet the newest experts in the law & politics of constitutional reform: my outstanding master's students at l'Université Paris Panthéon-Assas. Students have learned about key subjects in constitutional change, including constitutional replacement by constitutional amendment, judicial nullification of constitutional reform, and the role of the people in constitution-making. And I have learned a great deal from each of them about the tradition of popular constitutionalism in France.
