Hey, First name / friends!

Happy November! This year has been flying by! I landed in Tanzania last week and I'm spending the next few weeks on safari and hiking Mount Kilimanjaro! If you know me, you know my portfolio is heavily influenced by my travels, so it's filled with a lot of tropical leaves and animals that I encounter around the world. 

 

But this week, I want to celebrate the fall season. Over the past decade, fall motifs have been rising in popularity as people have embraced their inner autumn-lover. (Helloooo, pumpkin spice lattes!) So while tropical motifs tend to sell well year-round, it's also important to include other seasonal motifs in your portfolio. 

 

Before we dive into this week's challenge, let's take a look at a few of the incredible submissions for last week's candy prompt! I hope you all had a great Halloween!

 

This week's #CreateWithCatCoq challenge is to make an illustration feature fall foliage! Creating a repeat pattern with simple leaves like these could work well on countless products like table cloths, throw blankets, pillows, greeting cards, and so much more. The options are endless!
