Dear Middle Schoolers at Westminster,
Thank you SO much for helping with the seating at the Intergenerational Brunch on Sunday at church. The effort that you put into making sure that people "mixed it up" at the tables was very important for our overall goals for the event. We wanted to make sure that the tables were truly "intergenerational" and that people had conversations and connected with others that they may not know.
From past experience, I know that it is not easy to get people to sit with someone new; but you all did a great job! One reason that my husband, John, and I chose to join Westminster was that it was an intergenerational congregation. And, yesterday at church was definitely joyful evidence of that!
