Meet S. Jones
Hello, Name / Reader Friend!

It's time for Meet An Author Monday in November and I'm so happy to introduce you to Sandra Jones, aka S. Jones! I had the pleasure of meeting Sandra in person while we were both in Indy at the beginning of November! So without further ado, I give you…
S. Jones
Hello, Readers!

Breanna was nice enough to let me take over a spot in her newsletter and introduce myself. I met Breanna for the first time last weekend at the HEA Reader Event in Indianapolis, and she is just as friendly in person as she is online. Now that I have officially met her, I can't wait to check out her books.

A little bit about me. My name is Sandra Jones, but I write under S. Jones. My books have a little bit of everything.

Second Chance
Sports Romance
Romantic Comedy
Single Parents
Opposites Attract
Romantic Suspense
Angst
Steam

I love to write feel-good stories packed with plenty of heat and a little angst sprinkled in, too.

I have an addiction to romance, so when I'm not writing, you can usually find me reading while holding a glass of wine. I live in Upstate New York, where the sun shines probably five days a year, with my husband and two young adult children. I love to travel to new places and entertain outside whenever the weather permits for my family and friends.  Writing happily ever afters has become my true passion, and I never want to stop.

My last release, Fumbled Beginning, is a brother's best friend/sports romance featuring a swoony football player who has had a crush on his friend's sister for years but never had the courage to make his move until he rescues her from a bad date.  I don't know if I would call her a reverse grumpy sunshine, but she's pretty close, and readers loved her spunky personality. Plus, their banter was off the charts. I had so much fun writing their story.  It is the second book in the Atlanta Arrows series but can be read as a standalone.

“Isn’t this against the rules?”
 “What rules?”
“Dating a teammate’s sister.” She wet her lips like she was trying to convince herself that it was somehow prohibited.
“Your brother isn’t my teammate anymore.” I smiled, not mentioning that there was still a bro code, one I took seriously, but one step at a time. “So, what’s your next excuse?”
She shook her head. “Aren’t you the one always telling me that I shouldn’t go on anymore dates.”
“Let me clarify.” I paused and debated how far I wanted to push her on this. “I meant anyone but me.”
She laughed. “I can’t figure you out.”
“Ask me anything. I’m an open book.”
“I can’t tell if you’re joking or serious.”
“I’m serious, Rylee,” I answered immediately. “We are both attracted to each other and even you can’t deny that we have chemistry.”
I so desperately wanted to move past this conversation and finally make my move, but I didn’t want to push her. I wanted her to know where I stood, and convince her to give me a chance.
She shifted her body. “Who says I’m attracted to you?”
This woman wasn’t giving me an inch, but I was calling her out.
My gaze dropped to her lips. “Are you seriously going to pretend that you’ve never wondered what I kiss like? Never curious about what it would be like if we spent the night together?” I asked softly, noticing the rise and fall of her chest.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.”
“I don’t believe you.” My eyes tracked over her features, and I cupped her cheek. “Just so we are clear, I would worship those lips and spend every waking minute getting lost in them.”
