With joy, we are excited to share that our Rooted Retreat was the winner of the 2023 Innovative Program Award with our national Lutheran Outdoor Ministries organization. The Innovative Program Award is given annually to camps who are pushing the boundaries and trying new things. This is Crossways’ second Innovative Program Award, after having received the very first one awarded in 2012.
In addition, Ralph Yernberg received the Manlove-Howells Leadership Award, which is the highest recognition in the Lutheran Outdoor Ministry world. Ralph was instrumental in the formation of Crossways, as a Camp Director and Executive Director for both Crossways and Imago Dei Village.
